About three hours.  That's the approximate time San Antonians spend in their trucks or SUVs, heading south on 37 (or 181 for some) to the promising waters of the Gulf.  Not that the semi-arid countryside surrounding the Alamo City is devoid of freshwater fishing opportunities.  We certainly have our fair share of water holes within an hour's drive to wet a line.

You'll find that many of us congregate here at this site that Mac has graciously provided, and that our methods and pursuits are as varied as the opportunities that Ma Nature has to offer.  We finally have a localized site where questions can be posed, stories can be traded and fishing reports--naturally, details will vary--can be shared.

Of course, we're only as good as our content.  So feel free to participate and join in on the AAA Message Board. We are not a club, organization, group, posse, gang, guild, affiliation, or a commercial site.  Just a loosely-knit bunch of conservation-minded individuals with a love for the outdoors.
